Family Photography

Family photographs are so important. Children grow and change to quickly that before you know it they’re all grown up. You probably take hundreds of photographs of your children and that’s great. Do you get them printed? Do you put those pictures on your wall or in an album? Will they still be there in years to come to look back on the memories?

One thing I love doing when I visit my parents is pulling the family albums out. I absolutely love looking back over the years and reliving those magical times together. Me, my brother and sister on the beach, in the garden or the essential photograph of us having lunch by the side of the road “somewhere in France”
I create beautiful high-quality photographs of your family, printed by a professional lab and handed to you fully finished and ready to hang on your wall.

I offer a variety of different shoots to suit families whether you are coming to my Hurstpierpoint studio, a favourite location or your home. Here are a few of the options.

The “Cube”

You’ll love making shapes and squeezing into the cube. It's a cool concept which looks stunning on the wall. The great thing is that you don’t have to worry about posing or feeling awkward.   You and your family can create your own unique shapes and I will be there to give you plenty of ideas and guide along the way. Everyone really enjoys the experience and parents often tell me that their children haven’t stopped talking about it since.

As well as creating shapes, my aim is to capture the little moments in between which show the love within a family. The photographs with eye contact, family interaction, laughs and smiles always prove to be the most popular when people are choosing the images for their wall picture.  I take a wide variety of pictures and you can choose which ones you like best for me to create your own unique Cube picture. This is the wow picture.

Let’s talk Cube photography

“We had such fun with Louise creating our "The Cube" pictures! Louise was fun and creative and easy-going. She took so many fab photos it made choosing 9 so difficult! Highly recommended” Claire

Sussex wedding photography – BHASVIC tea party wedding – Jenny and Viv

Quirky and kitsch was the theme of Jenny and Viv’s family orientated wedding. Jenny spent a long time collecting retro and kitsch cups and saucers for their Brighton tea party wedding. Informal and family orientated was the way they planned it. They wanted documentary wedding photography only with no formal pictures at all. Most of […]
