Documentary Wedding Photography

Hi, I’m Louise, a Sussex documentary wedding and portrait photographer. I love photographing people and I want to create the best photographs for you. I really enjoy getting to know you and understanding your best qualities, so they can shine through in each image. I’m passionate about you feeling comfortable in front of my camera and I want to give you the best experience possible. I’m a full time professional photographer living in Hurstpierpoint where I also have a home studio. What I love about my job is the people I meet but best of all it’s the reaction I get when I hand over the pictures.

You’re getting married, massive congratulations. That’s exciting. I love weddings and I love getting to know you and feeling that I’m going on the adventure with you. By the time the big day arrives and I’m capturing it with my camera, I feel as emotionally involved as the other guests. When I feel the emotion, I express it through my images. It’s not unheard of that I may shed a little tear of happiness too! I’ve been told many times that people find me down to earth and fun, which is such a compliment. The most important thing to me is that you feel relaxed being photographed. It’s so lovely when people tell me that I made them feel comfortable. I photograph weddings in a candid documentary style, telling your unique wedding day story as it happens.

“Louise Sullivan, you were truly fantastic and professional, it also felt like you were one of the family and wedding party, you were unobtrusive and yet you got right in amongst us and captured our wedding beyond our dreams and expectations.” Karla - Bride

Informal and family orientated was the way they planned it. They wanted documentary wedding photography only with no formal pictures at all. Most of […]
